FROM VISION TO IMPACT

Driving impact across Chicago Southland since our founding in 2024, the Knox Family Foundation has been dedicated to creating lasting, transformative change in the communities we serve throughout Chicagoland and beyond. We focus on six key areas, education, youth development, housing and food insecurity, social justice and health and wellness, where we believe we can make the most meaningful impact. Our organization advances equitable opportunity for children and families through six interconnected program pillars. Each pillar (6'L's ) includes a flagship program designed to be scalable. Our goal is to build stronger, more resilient communities by addressing immediate needs while also fostering long-term opportunities for growth and success.

GLENN KNOX

Glenn Knox is the Founder of the Knox Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to expanding opportunities for children and families through education, youth development, housing and food stability, health and wellness, and social justice initiatives. Guided by the belief that Kids Need Opportunities to eXcel (KNOX), Glenn established the Foundation to address systemic barriers that prevent many young people from reaching their full potential.

With more than a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, grant development, marketing, and community engagement, Glenn has dedicated his career to advancing programs that strengthen communities and empower youth. Throughout his professional journey, he has helped secure funding, build strategic partnerships, and develop impactful initiatives that support education, workforce development, and family stability across the Chicagoland region.

Glenn’s leadership is rooted in collaboration and community-driven solutions. He believes meaningful change occurs when organizations, schools, community leaders, and philanthropic partners work together to create sustainable pathways for success. Through the Knox Family Foundation, Glenn continues to champion innovative programs that provide young people with the tools, mentorship, and resources they need to succeed academically, develop leadership skills, and thrive in their communities.
