At the Knox Family Foundation (KNOX), we recognize that parents and caregivers play a vital role in shaping the success and well-being of children. Families are the foundation of strong communities, and when parents have access to the resources, knowledge, and support they need, they are better equipped to help their children thrive. Through our programs and partnerships, KNOX works to empower parents and guardians by connecting them with resources, educational opportunities, and community support that strengthen families and create environments where children can succeed.

Connecting Families to Resources

Through the LINK Family & Community Support pillar, KNOX helps connect parents and caregivers with resources and services that support family stability and well-being. The KNOX Family Empowerment Hub serves as a central point of connection where families can access guidance, referrals, and information about community services. By coordinating with trusted partners and organizations, we help families find the support they need to navigate challenges and build stronger foundations for their households.

Strengthening Family Stability

Family stability is essential to helping children succeed in school and in life. Through the LIVE Food & Housing Stability pillar, KNOX works to connect families with programs and resources that address food insecurity and housing challenges. By partnering with community organizations and service providers, we help ensure that families have access to essential support systems that allow them to focus on their children’s growth, education, and well-being.

Supporting Children’s Education

Parents and caregivers play a key role in supporting their children’s educational journeys. Through the LEARN Education & Enrichment pillar, KNOX provides programs that complement classroom learning and offer students additional academic support. Families are encouraged to stay engaged in their children’s learning through workshops, educational resources, and opportunities to participate in activities that promote academic success.

Encouraging Youth Leadership and Growth

KNOX also works closely with families to support youth leadership development through the LEAD Youth Leadership Development pillar. By providing mentorship opportunities, leadership training, and community engagement activities, we help young people develop the confidence and skills needed to become positive contributors to their communities. Parents and caregivers are important partners in this process, helping reinforce the values of leadership, responsibility, and civic engagement.
