The Knox Family Foundation (KNOX) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for children and families in communities that need them most. Guided by the belief that Kids Need Opportunities to eXcel, the Foundation works to expand access to education, youth leadership development, housing and food stability, social justice, and health and wellness initiatives. Through strategic partnerships and community-driven programs, KNOX is committed to helping young people build the skills, confidence, and support systems needed to thrive.

OUR PURPOSE

At its core, the Knox Family Foundation exists to address systemic barriers that prevent children and families from reaching their full potential. We recognize that challenges such as educational inequity, food insecurity, housing instability, and limited access to leadership opportunities can significantly impact the trajectory of young people’s lives. Our work focuses on providing programs and resources that empower youth, strengthen families, and uplift communities.

OUR APPROACH

KNOX believes that lasting impact is achieved through collaboration. By partnering with schools, community organizations, local leaders, and philanthropic partners, we are able to deliver programs that meet immediate needs while also creating long-term opportunities for growth and success. Our initiatives are designed to support children academically, develop youth leadership, stabilize families, and promote equitable access to resources.
